AI & Machine Accessibility

Your website is only one way that people may access your web offering in future. AI Agents and other tools mean that increasingly people may access your information and data or purchase your products and services through the internet but without coming to your website.

AI Agents will need to be able to easily access not only content but also data and interactions on behalf of users: including product data, making appointments, filling forms and even making purchases. The best way for them to do this will increasingly be through a web platform’s back end not the front end website. Standards like MCP mean that sites can start to make their offering fully AI Accessible now, though <1% have so far.

Search Engine Accessibility

Ensuring that search engines’ crawlers, renderers and other bots can access not just URLs but also all navigation and valuable content.

Human Accessibility – including for those with Disabilities & Impairments

All websites should be at WCAG 2.1 AA standard as a minimum. This is now a legal requirement for all sites accessible in or selling to EU countries but with at least a Billion and maybe as many as 3 Billion people worldwide suffering disabilities or other impairments (including temporary and age related impairments) that mean they benefit from WCAG 2.1 it is a great way to boost sales and customer satisfaction.
